Trial period
Please note the policies below. Termination may result if these rules are not followed within the 30-day Trial period:
- No Show: if you fail to report to work for any reason without calling in before 6:00 A.M you will be terminated. The proof is required before you can return to work in case of an emergency.
- Absenteeism without sufficient notice: Having 2 absences without notice, one week's notice is required, during the first 30 days of employment, which will result in immediate termination.
- Quality: 2 quality complaints in 30 days will result in termination.
- Important: The cleaning supervisor will check your work more often than usual during the probationary period. Two complaints from the supervisor will count as one complaint from a client.
- Accidents: 3 occurrences of breakage/damage in 30 days will result in termination. Failure to report an accident will result in termination of employment.
- Breakage/Damage: Careless and rough treatment of the client's property will result in termination. Careless and rough treatment includes but is not limited to sliding furniture on a wood floor, sliding objects on wood furniture instead of picking up objects. Never hit furniture, woodwork, baseboards, or walls with vacuum cleaners and mops. This also includes causing damage due to negligence such as using the wrong chemical or scratching a shower glass.
- Theft, illegal drug use, lying and disrespectful behavior will result in immediate termination.
- 2 "written warning notices" within 30 days will result in termination.
