I understand that Detail Cleaning Services provided me with a working vacuum cleaner kit at no initial cost. I understand that I am responsible for repairing and, if necessary, replacing the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum kit includes the filters, carpet, and floor connections, which are also my responsibility to replace or repair. To prolong the life of the vacuum cleaner and minimize repairs, it is very important that maintenance be performed weekly.
In the event a vacuum cleaner needs to be replaced, the employee must purchase it through management. As stated in the policies, no other type of vacuum cleaner may be purchased or put into operation without management authorization. If necessary, management may purchase the vacuum cleaner and establish a payment plan for the employee.
